According to NFL insider Adam Schefter's twitter, the San Francisco 49ers have reached an agreement with former New York Giant RB Brandon Jacobs. Terms have not yet been disclosed.
Jacobs gave the Giants some good years, no doubt. But he is at the point in his career that players usually decline. Plus, he's not particularly durable for a big man. He will complement the 49er's running game but will never again be the bruising force that he was during his 3 great years with the Giants.
